Spotlight on Barbara Dierkes
Our October employee of the month is Barbara Dierkes. Barb was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from Ritenour High School. Barb married her husband Don on May 26, 1962 and they had 2 daughters. Barb was a homemaker while she was raising her children. She also did some odd jobs on the side to keep herself busy. She often went on family vacations around the United States and camping at Table Rock Lake often. Barb and Don were married for 41 years when he passed away in 2003. Barb has been a receptionist at GVCC for a little over a year. On her days off of work she enjoys quilting, sewing, and spending time with friends and family. Barb always gives exceptional service to our residents and families. We love you, Barb!
